It certainly has been quiet in the Miller household the past week during the night! Matthew it seems has finally gotten into a schedule of sleeping during the night, ALL NIGHT! He usually goes to sleep about 10pm and gets up around 7am. After he eats he will take a short nap till about 10am and stay up a good portion of the day. It certainly has made it easier on Michelle who has struggled through many sleepless nights, wonderfully I might add so that I can get some sleep for work. Just wanted to share our delight 🙂

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matthew. He had his 4 month check up yesterday. He is weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces and is 21 inches long, but as much as he squirms, I have no idea how that is accurate. The doctor did say that some of his joints are a little stiff so we have a physical therapist scheduled to come work with him to loosen him up a little. He is now sucking his thumb a lot, even in his sleep, which Mommy is thrilled with. All in all it seems like all he does is smile, which I am addicted to. We’ll continue to keep you updated on everything and look for a new page in the next month or so to track his incoming teeth 🙂

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matthew’s surgery. He went into the hospital Monday morning. For those who don’t know Matthew had to go in for hernia surgery. It started just on the left side, but all his screaming it moved to the right as well. The surgery took about an hour and the doctor said he did wonderfully. No problems at all. They made two small incisions on each side about 3/4 of an inch long and fixed him all up. He stayed in the hospital overnight just because he was premature, they were concerned with his breathing after anesthesia. The family was home by noon Tuesday and he is doing very well now. He is back to his normal self and yelling even louder now 🙂
