We’ve added our first video clip to the site. Sorry can’t add more but have to go back to work tomorrow so you’ll have to deal with this first glimpse for now. I will work on the page and more clips this weekend as time permits. Just click on the Video Archive link on the left and right click on the file. Let us know if you have any problems.

Congrats go out to Alana and Billy on the birth of their first born. Blake William Alan Martin was born Friday the 23rd of January 2004. He was 8 pounds even and 20 and 1/2 inches long. We wish the best for them as they celebrate as we have on such a wonderful occasion

I have added more pictures in just about every album and subalbum, I came across two boxes of old pictures cleaning out Matthew’s room, check them out. I have also added a few pictures from Matthew’s coming home, although I must admit, we haven’t taken many pictures recently since he’s been home because I think we’re both still in awe of everything. I am getting ready to start working on the videos so they should be up tonight, if Matthew allows, or tomorrow at the latest.

Just to let everyone know, the doctors today said that Matthew could finally come home. I say finally because it has seemed like forever but the truth is he is home much earlier than anticipated. Michelle and I are just getting things sorted out, but we wanted to let everyone know he is doing fine at home right now, albeit asleep but fine. I will try to get some pictures up tonight from his homecoming but this weekend I should have a good bunch up with the long awaited video clips.

Just to give everyone a quick update, Matthew is doing very well. He is gaining weight extremely well. One nurse had to weigh him twice the other day because she could not believe he gained 2 ounces in 24 hours. Monday he took his first bottle. He’s had some difficulties but is getting there. Yesterday he came out of his incubator and is inside his own “crib” now. In my opinion he went from a box to a bucket, but it’s a good thing 🙂 The doctor saw him yesterday and said best case scenario if he continues is he could be home by early next week. We’ll keep you updated as things progress.
