Well it’s about time I update this thing right? 🙂 Well life has been busy for the Miller’s in 05. We moved back to Baltimore where I am managing our office again for the second time. In the process we actually purchased a house. Matthew just turned two just a few days ago. And we had a trip to Disney World with Donnis and Shawna. Life has been good but busy. I was able to hire another guy in the office so things have gotten much better. But let’s review just a few things below…
We started the year with a trip to Jacksonville, FL in February to enjoy the festivities of Super Bowl 39, where my Eagles lost to the Patsies. We didn’t get into the game but had a good time none the less. Check out some shots in the Photo Gallery.
In May Michelle and I celebrated 10 years together by purchasing a house just outside of Baltimore where I was reassigned again. We have a few shots of the empty house in the Gallery. I hope to have some finished shots up soon enough. Outside of having to put in a new sump pump and draining most of our savings, were pretty happy with everything and made some new friends in the process.
In September I was lucky enough to experience the worst pain I have ever felt by getting a kidney stone. For 3 or 4 weeks I was going through some horrible pain capped off with the beginning and ending crescendo I hope I never feel again.
In October, we made a short trip to Houston for our Managers Meetings and quickly visited some friends and family and was also lucky enough to attend the Texans/Titans football game for our customer appreciation day.
Thanksgiving was spent with my Mom’s side of the family in Atglen, PA and Christmas was spent in our nice new house just the three of us, but before we hit Christmas we went to Orlando with Donnis and Shawna and enjoyed 7 days at Disney World. We’ve got a ton of those pics in the gallery for your viewing pleasure.
And to cap everything off, we just had Matthew’s 2nd Birthday Party with friends and family on the 14th.
That just about covers the basics, so enjoy this update for awhile. I certainly should be able to update things a little faster now that things have settled down work and personal wise. Looking forward to talking to everyone in the new year and we hope everyone has a happy and prosperous New Year!
Scott, Michelle, and Matthew!

Well, you knew it was going to be a matter of time right? Well, it’s happened again. The company has requested me to move BACK to Baltimore to fix the ailing office so we have once again moved. Many of you have been aware of this, but my time has been limited as to what I was able to let everyone know. We ended up buying a house and the move was last week. You can see pictures before our move in our photo gallery. We are about half out of boxes and just got online this evening. All of us are thrilled about the house! Matthew has stairs to climb and free roam of the first floor all the time. The cats have a basement they can escape to anytime where Matthew can’t torture them. Michelle has her own yard again, and I, well I have my own escape in the basement. All in all we are very excited. We do have a “house mate” so to speak. You can’t call him a room mate really. We have a groundhog that resides under our shed and comes out to eat, pictures to come soon. Anyway enough babbling, I will be sending out an email to everyone I have address’ for to let them know our new contact info. As soon as we get out of boxes and I have a few free seconds I will put more pictures up from the house and all kinds of things I have been saving.

It certainly has been quiet in the Miller household the past week during the night! Matthew it seems has finally gotten into a schedule of sleeping during the night, ALL NIGHT! He usually goes to sleep about 10pm and gets up around 7am. After he eats he will take a short nap till about 10am and stay up a good portion of the day. It certainly has made it easier on Michelle who has struggled through many sleepless nights, wonderfully I might add so that I can get some sleep for work. Just wanted to share our delight 🙂

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matthew. He had his 4 month check up yesterday. He is weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces and is 21 inches long, but as much as he squirms, I have no idea how that is accurate. The doctor did say that some of his joints are a little stiff so we have a physical therapist scheduled to come work with him to loosen him up a little. He is now sucking his thumb a lot, even in his sleep, which Mommy is thrilled with. All in all it seems like all he does is smile, which I am addicted to. We’ll continue to keep you updated on everything and look for a new page in the next month or so to track his incoming teeth 🙂

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matthew’s surgery. He went into the hospital Monday morning. For those who don’t know Matthew had to go in for hernia surgery. It started just on the left side, but all his screaming it moved to the right as well. The surgery took about an hour and the doctor said he did wonderfully. No problems at all. They made two small incisions on each side about 3/4 of an inch long and fixed him all up. He stayed in the hospital overnight just because he was premature, they were concerned with his breathing after anesthesia. The family was home by noon Tuesday and he is doing very well now. He is back to his normal self and yelling even louder now 🙂
